Careers Page Updating
Updating the Careers Page on the Georgian Bay Family Health Team Website
Follow these steps to add or remove job opportunities on the Careers page of the WordPress website using the Divi Visual Builder.
Adding a Job Opportunity
- Log in to the WordPress dashboard and navigate to the Careers page, choose EDIT.
- Enable the Visual Builder by clicking “Enable Visual Builder” at the top of the page.
- If there are currently no jobs:
- Scroll to the disabled job opportunity section on the page.
- Right-click on the section and click the three vertical dots (⋮).
- Select “Enable” and make sure to click on all three icons (desktop, tablet, and mobile) to ensure it is visible across all views.
- Go to Step 5.
- If there is a current job and you need to add one:
- Scroll to the job opportunity section on the page
- Select “Duplicate Module Icon"
- Edit each row within the section by updating:
- Job title
- Job description
- Application details
- Go to the section below the picture to enable the appropriate paragragh (one for no jobs, one for intro to jobs) and:
- Right-click on the first row, click the three vertical dots (⋮), and select “Disable” for all three views.
- Right-click on the next row, click the three vertical dots (⋮), and select “Enable” for all three views.
When a Job Opportunity is Filled
- Find the filled job opportunity section and:
- Right-click (⋮) and select “Disable” for all three views. OR if there are other saved sections this one can be deleted by clicking on the trash can.
- Only keep one or two disabled job opportunities to use as templates the next time.
- Go to the section below the picture to enable the appropriate paragragh (one for no jobs, one for intro to jobs) and:
- Right-click on the first row, click the three vertical dots (⋮), and select “Enable” for all three views.
- Right-click on the next row, click the three vertical dots (⋮), and select “Disable” for all three views.
Final Steps
- Save the changes by clicking the Save button in the bottom-right corner.
- Exit the Visual Builder and review the page to ensure the updates display correctly.
These steps ensure that job opportunities are updated efficiently while maintaining a professional and user-friendly careers page.
